note to self....PAY ATTENTION!!

Had a big cook-up and my freezer is once again filled with individual portions of various goodies.

Vegetable soup, spaghetti sauce, beef casserole, spinach quiche.
Brownies.

Stacked all the pots and utensils etc, prepared a sink full of hot soapy water, pulled on the gloves.

Immersed my hands, then realised I'd pulled on the stripey oven gloves which I'd been using all morning, instead of the pink rubber gloves!

Oh well, they needed a wash....

  1. Hi River,

    D'OH!!!

A recent faux pas of mine was to pour grapefruit juice over my cereals. Note to self - check the carton when taking it from the fridge.

    :0)

    Cheers

  3. Toni; I didn't giggle at the time, but I can now.

Plasman; Over here grapefruit juice comes in plastic bottles. which I never buy. Can't stand the stuff.

Kath; It's okay, go ahead and laugh. I don't mind. Really.

  4. That's so funny! (As well as the story about your sister and brother in matching outfits!) Sometimes being too efficient has it's down points - see oven mitts as example! Thanks for visiting... come back and stalk - anytime!

  5. I would love to have my freezer full of food as it once was but now I have mum's fridge there is no room. They're used half the freezer space to house the motor and it is a pain in the butt.

  6. LOL River.
That sounds like something I'd do ;)

  7. Kymmie; Too efficient is a failing of mine. Well, it used to be. I'd work to a schedule and have heaps of time to myself. With everything already done, I'd find myself laying around reading books until it was time to pick up the kids from school.

JahTeh; as long as the freezer has room for icecream, what more do you really need? Summer's coming, who needs food?

    Jayne; you too?
