Sunday Selections #7

Sunday Selections is in week #7 already!
My, how time flies....

Sunday Selections comes to us via Kim at Frog Ponds Rock, who devised this clever way of having us look through our unpublished photo files to find images we can post on a Sunday.

My theme this week is rainbows.

A rainbow of T-shirts.

A rainbow of pencils.

A rainbow of summer sleepwear.

Circular rainbow. No beginning, no end. No pot of gold. *sigh* couldn't we all use one of those right now.

I even found a rainbow on my lounge room curtain.

Rainbows are one of my favourite things.
Want to join in the fun?
Simply select a previously unpublished photo (or a few) , post them under the Sunday Selections title, then go over to Kim's and add your name to the link.
So very easy. If I can do it, anyone can.

  1. What a fantastic idea :) I bet there are rainbows everywhere, if we just stop and look for them! I love your photos.

  6. As far as i'm concerned a Rainbow is always a welcome sight even though there's no pot of gold at the end, very enjoyable & creative photos :-).

  7. sleepydwarf; there are so many things we just don't stop and see.

frogpondsrock; I just smile from ear to ear when I see them. Skipping on these uneven footpaths could be dangerous to knees and ankles.

Toni; I love pencils too, and pens and textas and paper and oh all stationery.

    gaby@727m2; magic is right.

    tiff; thank you.

Windsmoke; I had the end of a rainbow in my very own backyard once, but the pot of gold must have been at the other end.

  8. Yep, rainbows do give me a smile every time. I have a neurotic thing about pencils. They MUST be colour coordinated; rainbowlike. Uncoordinated pencils just WON'T DO! ;-)

  9. I never grow tired of the magic of rainbows. We had a double one last week and Hubby called me out to see it. (Even he appreciates the beauty of them)
Your photos are super. I like the pencils all facing inwards. I've just been sharpening all of mine ready to do a picture and like Carolina I've lined them all up in colour coordinated order.
Thank you for your last comment you left on my post. Wow! Implants are a fortune there aren't they? They are whopping price here too which is why my mother is off to Cyprus to get them done. It should only set her back a fraction of the cost. She gets her spectacles there too. Makes sense.
I feel heartened by your post especially as it is so grey here today so thank you for bringing some colour back into my day :)

  12. Carolina; usually all my pencils are stuffed into a favourite old coffee mug that's cracked but I can't bear to part with it. No colour co-ordination at all.

Facing50blog; The other thing about implants is they take so long to do. First the titanium screws have to be set into the jawbone and left for about six months for the bone to grow arond them for stability, then you wear dentures until the implanted screws are ready for the teeth to be fitted in. If I win lotto, I'll get them, but not otherwise. I liked the circle of pencils too, took me quite a while to get them all lined in like that.

Beet; pots of gold...pots of gold...pots of gold..

allhorsestuff; welcome to drifting. That one is my favourite too.

  13. Excellent selection of rainbows! Well done for capturing the rainbow at the window - I know from experience that it's not as easy as it looks!
