Norwood--pre-dawn

I took these photos one morning a few weeks ago on my way to work. I'd left early so I wouldn't have to rush, so had plenty of time to take photos.

  1. Dawn is such a magical time of day. It even softens (and improves) shopping centres which are not my favourite places. Thanks

  2. So peaceful before the hords invade it, almost like an art gallery.

  3. EC; this is an exceptionally pretty mall, housing cafes and the Hoyts cinema complex.

mybabyjohn; it really is the best time to be out and about. I hate crowds.

  4. The calm before the storm, before the hords come trampling in :-).

  5. Such a pity the human race has to invade our spaces ;)

  6. I love Norwood. It's one of my favourite places to visit when I'm in Adelaide visiting family. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to take it easy on the way to work ;) xx

  7. I don't know whether I appreciate the architecture and form of it or that it spooks me out a little seeing it bare and empty!

  8. Windsmoke; the hordes are a necessary nuisance.

Jayne; without the human race there wouldn't be such spaces though.

Kymmie; How long is it since you've been here? There's been a change or two....

Carol; I like it bare and empty, although I don't mind a few people. It's the meandering crowds who impede my progress that drive me nuts.

  9. I'll vote for your idea for your electric blanket cord. WOW.....The pictures look gleaming and clean. Looks like a tile world. :)
