Whimsical Wednesday #54

Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!

The day for the googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.

Today is the last Whimsical day for 2012, Year Of The Dragon.

In honour of all Dragons everywhere, (me and my daughter K) I bring you >>>

Watermelon Dragons

Green Dragon

White Dragon

These food carvers are so very clever!

I love their work, so thank you, whoever did these.

Comments

  1. Beautiful! I would not want to eat them, but display them on a shelf. Unfortunately, they would not have the "shelf life" of Mona Lisa.

  2. Greetings River,

I was thinking about writing one of my long-winded, drawn out, nonsensical ramblings. However, that might um 'dragon'...

Those are just amazing carvings and something you could really sink your teeth into.

    Happy Boxing Day, my friend.

    Gary :)

  4. Cindi Clarke; they're better preserved in photo form.

klahanie; I like your comments, even if they do "dragon".

Windsmoke; it is a very good one.

  6. They are so beautiful and thanks for sharing. So you are a DRAGON eh? A gentle one me thinks. I have no idea what I am...probably a silly old goat.

  9. Joe; welcome to drifting. Yes, there are some wonderfully talented people out there.

Mimsie; I don't think there is a year of the Goat. Google the Chinese horoscope to see what you are according to year of birth. My ex was a Rat.

Pearl; they do make lovely centrepieces and great conversation starters too. I had a lovely christmas, thank you.

elephant's Child; dragons are one of my favourite things. I had a dragon pendant on a chain once, but lost it somehow, somewhere.
