What Irritates You Monday

"What Irritates You Monday" is a meme thought up by Delores from The Feathered Nest.

Here, on a Monday, we get a chance to vent our little, or not so little, things that irritate us.
It doesn't have to be something on that particular Monday, it can be anything that irritates you any day of any week.

Today, my irritation is....

rain that suddenly changes direction and gusts into the bus shelter where six of us are huddled waiting on the seat, causing us to walk around behind the shelter where there is no seat, to stay dry. And the bus was late!

  1. I am so grateful for the rain we have been receiving this last week that I don't mind what direction it comes from. The smaller portion's sister would agree with you though. And is finding Canberra's weather tooooooo cold as well. When she headed off to church yesterday morning she looked a little like the Michelin woman - though she enjoyed the sight of the snow of the hills. (or said she did.)

  2. Elephant's Child; normally I don't mind the rain, but I was on my way somewhere and I'd hurried out without my umbrella.

  3. That is an irritation.... I could spend a little time on bus shelters in general too.

  4. Delores; I'm still on holiday from work, so I spend a lot less time at bus shelters now. Many of our bus stops don't even have shelters.

    Joanne; don't get me started....

  6. I've not caught a bus for years so no concerns about them being late and rain has always been my friend, being a lover of winter. I can, though, imagine how annoying it would be not only getting wet but having to wait for a bus that was tardy.

  7. Merlesworld; very hot weather and late buses go together too.

Mimsie; if only a bus shelter could be developed that protected from all direction weather and still allowed access for people as well as visibility to see if the bus was coming.
