Musical Monday # 62

Musical Monday

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.

I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Bryan Adams

Run To You

The words don't mean that much to me, but it has a good beat for a walking playlist.

the lyrics:

I haven't listened to this clip, so hope it sounds alright.

  1. HI River,

That's my favourite song by Bryan Adams. I have the album (Reckless) and I've seen him live - once.

    :0)

    Cheers

  2. Bryan Adams is awesome. I like the first rendition, but I'd listen to him in any form.

  3. Not for me I don't think. I don't dislike it, but it doesn't stir my soul. Thank you for the introduction though.

  4. Re the camera, River...a few weeks ago I bought a new little camera as my Pentax digital, which was fairly small, too...but not as small as the Fuji I bought from Target...decided it didn't want to work anymore. I never use a handbag...I have a few, but I find them too cumbersome, and can't be bothered with them...I always just take my wallet with me...that's all I need.

I saw Bryan Adams running in my direction, but he went right past me without a glance! I thought of putting my foot out...but I decided to be nice, and waved him by, instead! :)

  6. One of my (many) brothers played that song endlessly, lol. Mr. Adams looks so terribly young in the first vid.

  7. Plasman; I knew you'd like this one. I don't have any albums, just a few songs on the Ipods.

Susan Kane; he is awesome. I think the second clip isn't actually Bryan Adams, but the pictures are prettier.

Elephant's Child; you might prefer some of his other songs.

Lee; no handbag? I couldn't get around without one these days. I used to carry just my small purse in a jacket pocket, now I carry a slightly larger purse, a book, my phone, camera, inhaler, bus timetables, comb, tissues, pen&notepad, keys. Most of the time I carry all that in a small backpack, sometimes an over the shoulder bag.

Merle; it's quite old and didn't get as much airplay as some of his others.

Jac; he does look very young, but then this is quite an old song.

  9. Barbara; glad you liked it. I often wish I didn't need to carry so much stuff, my shoulders and neck get very tired and a bit sore.

  11. Isn't it dreadful but do you know I have no idea who Bryan Adams is......American or Australian?
Another toe tapping tune but a little modern for this oldie.
