It didn't take long for that egg to 'crack' and reveal all did it?

  7. Joanne; I suspect not many know about flour bins, these days.

joeh; way back when Moses was a lad, flour bins were installed in kitchens, usually in farm houses, to hold bulk goods such as flour and sugar etc. They fitted under the bench (counter) and swung outwards, I'm not sure I can explain it properly. Perhaps if you google them you'll see what I mean.

fishducky; I'll pass that on, next time I see him. Probably at Christmas.

Elephant's Child; he cracked pretty quickly, but it didn't do him any good, he still got boiled.

Marty Damon; I would never get MY fingers that close to boiling water.

Barbara; someone out there has a great imagination.

Vicki; eggsellent comment. I won't be seeing SIL for some time.

Merle; I'm glad mine can't talk, I like my pancakes and scrambled eggs and egg custards......

  10. Good one! I've lagging behind...I've had a busy few days...it was my birthday on Wednesday just gone...so I've been otherwise occupied since then...

And I've just noticed...it appears that your son-in-law celebrated his birthday on the 11th of the 11th, too!!! :)
