  2. OMG, is there actually a point in life when you can't McGyver anymore?

  3. Loopty loop, I'm out of the loop. I've rarely watched TV in my life. LOL

  4. I am with Manzanita here. But am familiar with many of the uses for tape. Wonderful stuff.

    1. Another show I never got to watch! During the years the series was shown I was tied up running around islands and resorts like a lunatic, and I never get much time to watch the box. I make up for lost time and shows nowadays!

I saw Richard Dean Anderson interviewed not long ago and he's looking good. He's aged well.

    2. Another typo...I meant to say - "and I never GOT much time"...not "get"!

  6. HA! More's the pity. It'd be nice if we could fix the world with a roll of duct tape, WD-40, and a couple paper clips.

    Happy New Year!

  7. Jacquelineand...;so a roll of duct tape isn't a good Christmas gift anymore? How is your hand?

R Mac Wheeler; SG1 was my favourite for a long, long time, now it's still in the top 5.

    fishducky; I sincerely hope not.

Manzanita; McGyver was a series starring Richard Dean Anderson who was an agent for some big corporation I don't remember the name of right now, he fixed all kinds of problems with nothing more than ingenuity and whatever he could find lying around. duct tape, paper clips, chewing gum...

Elephant's Child; I love duct tape, but it isn't as good as it used to be, so now I buy gaffer tape which is stronger and holds longer. A lot of my extension cords are duct taped to the edge of the skirting boards to keep them out of the way.

Lee; Lee; he has aged well, I haven't seen any recent pictures of him though. Have you got around to watching any of the McGyver series? He looked so young then with his blonde mullet.

Vicki; I still watch it now and again.

Susan; I've fixed lots of stuff with duct tape, not so much with paper clips though. Happy new year to you too.

    1. No, River...I've never caught up with the series, although, of course, I've seen clips and pics of it over the years.

    2. My late brother used to enjoy the show, I think, from memory.

  8. Didn't mind McGyver when I could get to watch it all those years ago...

  9. It's doing better River, thank you. Scar tissue has formed so bleeding isn't an issue any longer, thank goodness. On the other hand, so to speak, most of the scar tissue is over the knuckle so need to do twice daily massage to keep the range of motion. It will loosen up eventually. =)

  10. Margaret-whiteangel; I still watch it sometimes.

Jacquelineand...it might stay softer if you massage with hand lotion, the scar tissue I mean. Bio-oil is good too, excellent in fact if you can get it where you are.
