Sunday Selections # 275

Welcome back to Sunday Selections!

This once-a- week-meme was originally begun by Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, as a way to showcase some of the many photos we all take, but don't get around to showing on our blogs.

The rules are very simple:-
1. post photos of your choice, old or new, under the Sunday Selections title
2. link back to me, River, somewhere in your post
3. leave me a comment so that I know you've joined in and can come over and see what you've posted.
4. hop on over to Elephant’s Child to see more of her wonderful photos.
  Andrew often joins in too.

I usually go with a theme for my Sunday Selections and this week we're taking a trip down memory lane.

Get ready for the cuteness that was Angel in his first couple of weeks with me.
Two years ago.

from that

to this>>

in two short years.

  1. I was cute, too, 2--make that 40 years ago!!

  2. He was indeed cute - but much as I like kittens I prefer cats. More character, even when that character is not all good and the personality is poisonality.

  3. Again, those pics prove how quickly time flies. Angel was a beautiful kitten and he's grown into a very handsome fellow two years later. Cats are so much fun from kittens through...such great company. My two are sitting here with me as I type...of and my two shadows!! :)

Happy Mother's Day for today, River...I hope you enjoy your day whichever way you spend it.

and I hope the coming week is equally enjoyable...cuddles to Angel, the star of the day. :)

  4. The photo of Angel peeking out from the covers is so cute. Two years? Where did that time go?

  5. fishducky; I think you're still cute.

Elephant's Child; he's more companionable now, coming for a cuddle every day. When he was tiny he didn't stay still long enough, although he did still come and lie across the computer for his cheek rub.

Lee; I'd forgotten how pretty he was then. Now much of the clearly defined stripes have disappeared in the fluff.

Andrew; that's one of my favourite photos. Time certainly does fly by. I think that when I see my grandchildren, who are in fact grand-adults now at 20 and 22 years old.

  6. Those two years flew by, cute kitten by a lovely fluff ball as a adult cat.
    Good action shots.

  7. Merle; who knew time could go so fast? Two years already with Angel and I've been living here almost five years now!

  8. .. Angel is gorgeous...always was and always will be... I love cats...
    hugs... Barb xxxx

  9. Takes me back to when Precious and Henry came to stay with us 16 years ago. I have some lovely pics of the two of them as kittens.
Angel has grown into such a beautiful fellow.
