  8. cheryl; I'm more likely to do this when I have a hayfever hangover headache, then my voice won't be recognised.

fishducky; let us know how it goes :)

    Grace; it's on my list!

    Plasman; you have the courage.

joeh; let us know if you get interesting results.

Susan Kane; it's a great idea, yes?

Elephant's Child; it doesn't show numbers? Do you have your favourite people to call stored in the 'phonebook' folder? (app?) then when one of those people call you it should tell you the name and number.

Andrew; I knew you'd be willing.

  9. In reply to the last such call I received in a most officious tone, I said I was Detective Sergeant So & So from whatever police station...I made up the names as I went along...and the caller on the other end promptly hung up.

Prior to that when I've been asked by name by someone calling me from India or elsewhere I've replied: "I'm sorry she's not here. She died a couple of days ago and we're having her wake...bye, bye!" That makes them disappear quickly, too! ;)

  10. Margaret-whiteangel; I love this idea.

Lee; my daughter does something similar; she says, let me get my husband on the phone. Usually the caller hangs up right away or else her husband says, "Detective (Inspector/ sergeant/constable) Harkman speaking, how can I help you?" That gets a hang up.

  16. Barbara; I've been known to go "eh?" really loudly then put the phone down as if going to get someone else, then I hang it up 10 minutes later.

Belva; me too, one day. I rarely get blocked calls.

Mohave Rat; try it when you've called the police and they've said there's no one available right now...

Buttons Thoughts; made me laugh too, that's why I posted it here.
