Whimsical Wednesday # 236

Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!

The day for your googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.

Angel does a similar thing at 3am!
He lies right beside my ear and purrs as loudly as he can until I'm awake enough to get up and usher him to his bowl of crunchies. The little large so-and-so can go to them on his own but prefers to be escorted.

  1. Isn't it odd that we think we are the masters? Jack had me up at 3:30.

  3. I might have to buy ear plugs and show him they drown meows. On the other hand, if you have to take a pee anyway, what the heck.

    1. Joanne; he rarely meows, there's just a certain level of purr that means please get up now, and I usually do have to pee by then anyway. He does let me go back to sleep after.

  5. Fortunately, my two furry rascals generally wait for me to open an eye and then they give me a wonderful greeting. Only this morning a smile broke across my face from their reaction when I first stirred. They make life worthwhile.

In summer Remy sometimes likes to wake me...but never as early as Angel does you or as depicted above. He's doing that less and less, too. Mostly, when I stir...they stir. Habits are easy to mimic. :)

    1. Lee; I had got Angel to the point of waiting until almost 5am, but with the colder weather his appetite has increased, so he is hungrier earlier. We're in a warm stretch right now, 19C yesterday and today, 22C tomorrow, so the breakfast and dinner times aren't quite so early.
I'm sure he'll sleep later as he gets older.

    1. Merle; I can't shut my doors, the bedroom opens to the bathroom where his litter tray is, also to the back porch where his scratching towers are and to the lounge/kitchen where his food bowls are.

Apawlogies for such a delay in getting to your site. I've been rather busy licking my human dad's face. Even that didn't wake him. Arf!
