Musical Monday # 153

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.

I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Phil Collins

You'll Be In My Heart
from the Tarzan soundtrack

  1. I didn't see that Tarzan movie and had never heard the song. Very nice! (and cute cartoon)

    1. S.J.Qualls; the movie is excellent, you'll have to get hold of it somehow and watch. It's animated, the clip is taken from the movie.

    1. fishducky; it's animated so maybe you thought it was just for kids?

  4. A nice song. Phil Collins has been around almost as long as I have...and that's saying something!! :)

He and Peter Gabriel are the only two from the band "Genesis" we still hear about these days.

His daughter is starting to make a name for herself in the acting department.

    Happy week, River. :)

    1. Lee; Phil Collins is a big favourite of mine. I hadn't known about his daughter acting, what is her name?

    2. Lily Collins, River.

She's in the new movie by Warren Beatty (produced, directed and starring Beatty...along with Annette Bening, Beatty's wife)..."Rules Don't Apply".

    1. Margaret-whiteangel; I'm not sure of this, but I think it was written just for the movie, like a couple of others: Son of Man; Two Worlds One Family. They're all on the soundtrack.

  7. I look forward to your Musical Mondays because it's about a subject I hold dear, "moving to music." I always choreograph movement in my mind that will fit with the music. I am just sitting at my computer and dancing in my mind. But now, that the weather is warmer, I can spend a little time in my garage turned "studio" (with the dreamy wood floating floor). For me, body movement is always just there, waiting to connect with music.
    Thanks to you River.
