Musical Monday # 163

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.

I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Billy Idol

White Wedding

and a live version for those who'd like to see it

  1. LOVE the beat. Almost all of your selections have a great toe-tapping, heart stirring beat.

    1. Elephant's Child; that's why I chose them. I used to plug in my earbuds, switch on the music and go walking. When I lived where there were wider, flatter footpaths.

  2. For some reason I can't hear this!
    That live version looks brilliant.

I will re-visit soon and give it another try.

    All the best Jan

    1. Lowcarb team member; banned in your country? that's a shame, perhaps you can find it on you tube.

  3. This, by the way, is the Billy Idol song our chef at The Laguna Belle used to belt out, not "Mony, Mony".

In my response three weeks ago (where did that time go?) what I wrote implied it was "Mony Mony", where, in fact, it was "White Wedding". At the time,I was going to go back in and alter what I'd written...but didn't do so.

    Happy days, River. :)

    1. Lee; belting out any Billy Idol song seems like a good idea to me :)

  4. I remember this one well along with his Rebel Yell also

    1. Jimmy; Rebel Yell was my first choice for today, but it wouldn't load. I'll try it again later in the year.

  5. That's one I don't switch the radio station from. I like the sinister edge it has. I also like his "Dancing with Myself."

    1. Val; a lot of Billy's songs have that sinister edge that no one can copy.

  6. I love it. I think the original clip is the best, where he was a bit younger.

    1. Andrew; yes, the younger Billy is more appealing to listen and look at.
