it's that time again....

and because we're all such great believers in equal opportunity (evil laugh here)

*sigh* I'm not a big fan of mammogram day. The actual squishing isn't so bad, what burns is the stretching of the skin between shoulder and breast as the machine presses downward. and it isn't easy getting close enough to the machine when you have enough fat belly to appear 6 months pregnant.

  1. I hope it went well.
I am also not a fan.
And do mind the ritual squashing. It hurts.

    1. Elephant's Child; well enough, although the positions they put you in to get as much breast as possible on the plate, are very awkward when one shoulder is inflamed and the back doesn't want to bend. The results won't be known for a couple of weeks, but I'm not expecting bad news. Off to the doctor tomorrow about the cough I've had since Easter.

    1. Kathy G; I think a contortionist might enjoy being bent in several directions at once. maybe not the squishing part though.

Hope the test was a waste of time except for relief in knowing you are OK.

    1. Val; I just had to find a male equivalent cartoon, because I like to share, even pain and discomfort.
