So far. The Beehive Corner building is the same, depending on how long ago you've been here, I think there was some upgrading done to make it cleaner and brighter.

Dianne; it's "posh" in the way that David Jones was "posh" when all other stores were just shops and DJs had the gloss, the marble floors, the baby grand piano with the player tinkling out classical music.

Cindi; maybe there is a commemorative piece somewhere, maybe a stone or something similar, a photo of the original building framed and hung, I don't know how to find out.

Susan; it's shiny and new without being overdone. Quite classy actually, I like it.

Mimsie; I'll share photos of the other floors and shops as i take them, I'll have to get there at times when there aren't so many people about. I don't like to inadvertently get them in photos that might appear on the internet. I can imagine people actually lying down on the one you showed a picture of! : )
Look forward to next week's "something different" but more shops are always interesting too.Mimsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249766510078357225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664393407924733681.post-64169905931846841752013-05-19T11:35:48.628+09:302013-05-19T11:35:48.628+09:30Wow, that place sure is ultra modern looking. I love those lights, but those seats don't win my heart either. Mind you, neither do Malls. I like looking at your photos MUCH more than I suspect I would like the Mall itself. Thank you.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.com
