Wednesday's Words on a Friday
On Wednesdays, Delores, from Under The Porch Light, has a meme which she calls “Words for Wednesday”. She puts up a selection of six words which we then use in a short story, or a poem. I’m hopeless at poetry so I always do a story. It’s a fun challenge…why not join in? It had been several weeks into the second semester and after placing herself in situations where Angelo would be sure to notice her, he finally had. And asked her out. As first dates go, theirs had been quite interesting. Angelo had invited her to see the premiere showing of the current drama club play. He had ushered her to a near front row seat, presented her with a box of chocolates, then left her alone to go backstage and change into his costume. Angelo was in the play!...
