Following on again with Toni's A-Z, a...is for meme, today's letter is J J....is for Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. I found th ese recipes in a book I bought purely for the colourful illustrations and they have proved quite popular with the barbecuing men in the family. This book had my heart from the moment I first saw it. I wandered through the rest of the bookstore, but I knew I wasn't leaving without it. Back in 1999. Best title page ever! Here are a few lines from the book, just to get your mouth watering before I post a couple of the recipes.
