My typing.   My two or three finger hunt and peck typing. I try to get the words out fairly quickly and then have to spend precious minutes (who am I kidding, time is all I've got and plenty of it, but my kindle calls to me....) , proof reading and correcting.  Because I repeatedly hit the "a"   key either before or after I should, getting "taht" or "thta" instead of "that" , and "teh" instead of "the" and other silly little things, such as liitle . It began with the nagging strong ache in my hip and thigh. I've had it for weeks now, so I decided it was time to take some extra panadol, and maybe a couple of anti-inflammatories as well with breakfast. It didn't help at all which didn't really surprise me, so by lunch time I got out the strong pain relief tablets that I get from the chemist and took a couple of those as well. Within an hour I was feeling nauseous from the chemical mix and didn't feel at all like going into town. So why would I?  Well....I w...

It doesn't have to be something on that particular Monday, it can be anything that irritates you any day of any week.    Today, my irritation is.... rain that suddenly changes direction and gusts into the bus shelter where six of us are huddled waiting on the seat, causing us to walk around behind the shelter where there is no seat, to stay dry. And the bus was late!

I didn't have this scheduled, because I didn't have anything that irritated me. So today I went shopping for a couple of new things, because I'm taking a short holiday soon. Here's the breakdown:- undies and socks shopping=10 minutes. time spent waiting for buses=2 1/2 hours. There's an irritation. Oh, you want to know about the holiday? on Friday 5th I'm flying across the country to Perth, to stay for a week with my brother R and his partner V. I've never been to WA. I've heard Perth is similar to Adelaide climate wise, so that's okay, but sightseeing....well there's a lot of things to see and do...I'm having a hard time deciding on that. I'm definitely taking a ferry trip around Rottnest Island,  a day to look around the local markets is planned, the rest of the time we'll decide over breakfast what to do that day. It's going to be fun. But I'm not taking the computer, so I'll be offline for several days....

Here in Australia, every winter, there is an advertisement on television showing a woman sneezing.    The sneeze has been captured on slow motion camera so that every sprayed droplet is clearly visible. This is usually played around dinnertime and is quite vomit-inducing if you happen to be eating at the time.  Playing it with classical music doesn't make it any more appealing.  It's meant to make people more aware that we are in flu season and should get a flu shot.  Nothing at all is mentioned about covering up sneezes and coughs so that you don't infect others. ...
