Drifting through life

I hope I didn't forget anything. clothes, computer bag, gifts for the sister, seems to be all there. Next time I check in, I'll be several hours north of here. I've seen the weather forecast, it's going to be hot. Damn, I'd better shove some sunscreen in one of those bags. And my hat. I can't promise to check in every day, maybe not at all, I'm taking the laptop mainly so I can check emails and download my photos each day so I don't forget what they are and where I took them.

I won't be online much in the next few days. There's work in the mornings, (sigh), then in the afternoon I'll be doing other things. Unfun things. Don't want to do them things. Like sweeping down the walls and washing off marks. Dusting off the light fittings. Vacuuming the carpet. (there's no carpet in my new flat, YAY!) Washing windows and doors. I'll still pop in if I have a minute or so, even just to check my email and skim a few posts, but if I don't leave comments, I'm sure you'll understand.
