 I have just now heard on the news that our "One Nation" political leader, Pauline Hanson, wants to make us a "whites only" country and wants to begin mass deportations of illegal citizens in the same manner as that of the US president, lower case "p" because in my opinion he doesn't deserve that title. She also wants our Health Care and Pharmaceutical companies to follow the American model!! She thinks Trump is a great leader, so I say, go and live there!

  Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. this was the front garden view from my tiny porch when I first moved in, (15 years next month) that thin small rosemary in the front is now 2 metres high and 3 metres wide and the rest is so overgrown it's impossible to walk through. The "gardeners" keep the pathways clear by chainsawing everything that hangs over the edge, in case emergency services need to access any of the flats, and roses get chainsawed off at hip or ...

 by loud banging on the lobby stairs as heavy trolley of some sort was bumped up to one of the flats up there. Some sort of delivery and I wasn't interested enough to wonder what.  I was more interested by something I rarely see these days: sunrise! with complimentary weird horizontal lines again, but isn't it pretty? The clouds don't look as pink as in real life.

 I'm referring to the one for the Family Size block, meant to be shared by a family, but I can easily eat one of those on my own, though I no longer do that.  The advertisement stated "there's a glass and a half of full cream dairy milk in each block" Come back to the future with me now, and here's what they are stating: "there's a glass and a half in each one" Here's my question: A glass and a half of what? Since they are deliberately not saying I wonder if it is lite milk? skim milk? soy? palm vegetable oil?  All I know is it doesn't taste the same as the chocolate I grew up with and hasn't since the mid 90s (last century! does that make you feel old?) when very briefly palm oil was listed as an ingredient (until everyone and her grandma got up in arms about the rainforests and gorilla habitats) and to me the chocolate, especially the chunky snack bars, tasted strongly as if someone had forgotten to clean the oil off the machines that ...

"no-one" went shopping at a thrift store (Aussie Op Shop) and found a few long-line cardigans in good condition and bought them. For Me! the striped one had only three buttons, of that brown leather you see there, so I bought seven new ones in a purple shade and sewed those on instead, it looks nicer now. most of these photos...
