Sunday Selections #5
Apple
Pear
Mandarin
The Fruit Bowl
I haven't used these pictures anywhere before because they're a little blurry. WEll, the mandarin is.
As an unused file, it's perfect for this week's Sunday Selections.

wow River, you have such an eye for drawing attention to things most of us never look at or think about.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, River. Love the colours!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think they are gorgeous and now I'm hungry!
ReplyDeleteIf you like fruit, give SPC Pear in Cranberry Juice a go it's very Yummmmmy :-).
ReplyDeleteI throw out a challenge to you - take 'em again but in macro-setting this time - they'll be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe top photo looks like a painting River. I really really like it.
ReplyDeleteMmm...lovely! A new way of viewing fruit.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I wouldn't say 'blurry'. I'd say 'artistic'!
ReplyDeleteToni; the "flower" on the mandarin was what first caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteTiff; fruit is colourful isn't it. A full bowl makes a great centrepiece.
Wanderlust; fruit makes me want to eat too.
Windsmoke; I have tried it, it's really nice.
Kath; that particular bowl of fruit was eaten long ago, I'll have to buy more. I thought I had used the macro, but now I'm not so sure. It was over a year ago.
frogpondsrock; thanks. I used to try and paint fruit, now I'm glad I have the camera, my painting is soooo bad.
Chez; welcome to drifting. I like looking for new ways to see things.
Carolina; welcome to drifting. Ha Ha, artistic. My hands are often shaky, so photos like this are common.
Love your fruit bowl, it's gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteYour fruit bowl picture reminds me so much of growing up; the wooden table, square white tiles, look just like the houses I spent time in when I was little.
ReplyDeleteI haven't eaten an apple in thirty years, or a pear in twenty years, I ate a mandarin last year, I've got a tree.
ReplyDelete-Robert.
Bit of a fruit.
sleepydwarf; it's one of my favourite bowls.
ReplyDeleteTenille; welcome to drifting. When I was growing up, there was no fruit bowl. We had canned peaches all the time. With icecream.
R.H. Not even in apple pie? That's so sad. Apples are one of my favourite fruits.
