Wednesday's Words on a Friday

The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems.

The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind.

If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words.

This month the words/prompts are supplied by David M. Gascoigne and can be found here

This week's words/prompts are:

1.villain  2. visit  3.bone  4.stork  5.memory

and/or:

1.imprinted  2.human  3.kink  4.spring  5.faithful

Also including Charlotte's colour of the month: pretty flower pink

Here is my story:

Incurable disease is a villain most foul, taking from us life and limb, even bone in some cases.

Though hope springs eternal and I am faithful to hope, still some tragedy or other is bound to visit one or more of our humans, our families and friends.

A kink in the design or plan of Mother Nature perhaps?

These days of trials will be forever imprinted on my memory.

I shall spend time gazing at the pretty flower pink of the gentle sunset as I once again call upon hope to see me through.

**it is possible I may not find time to participate in Words for Wednesday every week, though I will try. Ditto reading blogs and commenting.
The story above holds some truth, though it is NOT about me. Someone I know is going through a very difficult time and I hope I can be there to help as much as I can.

It is good you help someone. fK is there for me every day and without her.... and all blogger-friends... I might´ve given up big, especially when Ingo was so sick the blogger-world kept me going with support... The world is a give and take and you will get help when you need it, I am sure (#karma)... Give and take btw, something on the way to you for real :-)
