Don't worry I'm okay,

but there is no story today, hands are hurting quite a bit, so typing isn't easy.

I had a fall yesterday while hurrying to catch the bus that was right there, wasn't flat out running, but two hurried almost running steps and down I went.

Blood everywhere! I think I scared a few people when I got on the bus looking like I'd been in a fight.

head gash which bled like a stuck pig, but stopped before I got off the bus

left hand all scraped plus fingertip cuts

right hand scraped plus fingertip cuts.

this was just after I cleaned up with disinfectant and before I applied bandaids.

** there may be no Sunday Selections this week if the hands still hurt.**

  1. Oh my goodness, bless your heart ❤️ 💙 💜 Sometimes it isn't worth running for a bus, but I totally understand, because I take public transit here in Montreal and I have also run to catch a bus.
I am glad you are okay. Take time to rest and heal, dear friend.

  2. Oh dear! That must have been a hell of a shock Elsie. The wounds look fairly superficial but that was a nasty gash on your forehead. Sure it doesn't require some stitches? A week from now I hope you will be back to normal. Let the bus go in future. There will be another one soon enough.

  7. Oh bother. I hope you mend quickly. head and fingers always bleed like crazy. I also think that head gash need - if not stitches then Butterfly adhesive strips - my universal remedy for all those wounds.

  8. Older age has some unfortunate consequences. Everyone falls over from time to time, but we look worse when the bleeding stops:(.

    Be well.

  15. Sh##!!!! You look like I did when my hands and chin found a glass bottle in the dark! Oh hallelujah - you went to see a surgeon, right? Ingo dragged me to one and they sew the wound up AT.ONCE - I fell 06:55 a.m. and called Ingo at 12:00, was like donating blood all the hours and I was all dizzy - thinking that heals by itself, just pressing the "flesh" tight - no! You went to see medical help, right? Oh, shoot! You´re in my thoughts... heart, you know, what I mean...
