Sunday Selections #767

Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us.

In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look.

Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally.

Beginning today with a delivery van I haven't seen in a long time:

a feather and Peck van, delivering pasture raised eggs. I don't know where to.

Window washers! A daredevil job for sure. That particular building is HUGE and the front is 98% windows.

a heavenly blue car to fit with Charlotte's colour of the month

and what appears to be a flat tyre, I hope he doesn't plan on driving too far.

parked beside my lawn, this is a too common sight these days with many neighbours aging and becoming unwell. No flashing lights or screaming sirens though, just help when someone needs it.

cloudy skies over the Monarto Safari Park, where "no-one' and her best friend took the best friend's two sons a few weeks ago.

Meerkats rolled up and snoozing

while one keeps watch

Gorillas keeping warm with blankets

this one seems to be hunting for something

Rhinoceros, or "Chubby Unicorns" as the park people call them. There are t-shirts and caps to buy with Rhinos on them that read "save the Chubby Unicorns"

elephants, okay, ONE elephant, but there are more now, three or four I think, I have seen them arriving by truck on the TV news.

another "Chubby Unicorn"

This one is eating, the boys really loved them.

I love these twisted old and dead trees.

Giraffes, adults and young ones

two more "Chubby Unicorns"

a cheetah resting in the grass

and a lion doing the same in his separate enclosure, being close to the gate he might be waiting for lunch to be delivered.

this is part of the mural on the fence at the entrance

and more of the mural.

this is Ana dancing with the musical reindeer that sings Jingle Bells when a button is pressed in his foot, the girls have learned to press it for themselves now,

and Gen taking her turn a little more sedately than Ana who loves to spin until she is dizzy. I hope they play, keep your sound on.

finishing with:

Happy Birthday "No-one"

🎂💖😀
