Sunday Selections # 790
Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Starting this week with a "wish" who remembers cupping one of these in the palm of your hand, making a wish and then blowing it away? If it flew up and away your wish was supposed to come true. What beautiful and carefree times. I've always considered those to be eras of innocence and color. We miss them so much. This truly brought a sweet smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteMary and Chris; there is a lot to miss about the days before Covid.
DeleteThis is too cute. Thanks for the smiles.
ReplyDeleteDVArtist; you're welcome.
DeleteThe video DID play. That child has got a remarkably deep, adult voice. Perhaps it is an hormonal issue or he might require surgery.
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding; don't be taking the fun out of it, just enjoy and smile.
DeleteMuito legal e me fez sorrir, sim! beijos, tudo de bom, chica
ReplyDeletechica; it is very sweet and I smile too.

ReplyDeleteCharlotte; I'm glad it played and you smiled.
DeleteI don't remember the ad at all. Amusing.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; probably it didn't run on ABC.
DeleteWhat a fun ad. Someone was very clever.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; I like fun ads like this, they're happy and probably encourage more people to buy the product.
DeleteI don't remember the ad, but I used that stuff on my kids!
ReplyDeleteVal; my kids were grown by then but I used it on myself.
DeleteIt sure did
ReplyDeleteRuby Rose and the Big Little Angels 3; 😀
DeleteWhat a cute face for such a deep voice :) I spoke often to my own boys about protecting their skin when they were young.
ReplyDeletehels; obviously the voice is dubbed in. I remember slathering sunscreen on my kids whenever we went to the beach.
DeleteThat is neat R, the other evening I watched a few videos on old Australian ads, most interesting.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; the old ones are interesting, I love the banana-na-na make those bodies sing one.
DeleteThat is cute, and, yes, it did make me smile on this rainy Tuesday morning.
ReplyDeletejabblog; glad you liked it.
DeleteI don’t think this ad ever aired in Malaysia, so it was new to me.
ReplyDeleteAll the more fun to watch now--it really did bring a smile.
Veronica Lee; I think it only showed in Australia where we all need to be reminded to use sunscreen.
DeleteLove it! We bought this for years but now I found - and took home - some from Cancer Council. The purchase goes to research, pic to come soon - it smells of coconut.
ReplyDeleteWhere I am I cannot play it however you often make me smile. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSo cute ... and yes it did make me smile :)
