Let us be Blue

who remembers the green decor in my bathroom from several  months ago?

here it is, I believe I said something about imagining a tropical resort holiday.

Anyway; this past weekend I decided it was time for a change.

To support from afar, my US friends, I have "gone blue", ignore that horizontal line which is a fault in the downloading

Obviously I can't vote because I don't live there, so this is the next best thing, right? And I like blue, it reminds me of oceans and rivers and creeks and ponds, all good things to be near when the heat of summer is upon us.

In other news:

the *Silky Oak tree across the road is blooming along with hundreds of Jacarandas all over Adelaide (ALL OVER!) so instead of relief I have more pollens to assault my sinuses.

ho hum, life goes on...

* Silky Oak is the largest plant in the Grevillea family

  1. I like blue too, but mainly for clothes, hats and shoes that are seen in public. It reminds me of gorgeous oceans, lakes and summer skies :) The dark and light blues combine beautifully with white and silver.

    1. hels; we like blue for the same reasons. i walked into that bathroom this morning and almost got blinded by the white, I'd become so used to the green over the winter.

  2. Green is my favorite color, but I do like your shades of blue. The room looks brighter now.

    1. Val; green was my favourite as a child and I still love it, but these days I prefer the many blues. The room is very bright now, I almost need sunglasses in there until I get used to it.

  3. Very nice. Cool. I've always loved blue and that my bedroom colour when growing up with lemony trim. My house in the country was lemony with a gorgeous blue trim everywhere. My current bathroom is turquoise, bluey green.
