A random rare Sunday Selection

Welcome back to Sunday Selections.

Begun way back in the mists of time by Kim of Frog Ponds Rock and now continued by Elephant's Child, as I have handed over the reins, with a drastic relaxation of rules.

Originally meant for showcasing old photos lost on your files, never seeing the light of day, the meme has morphed into photos of your choice, new or old, good or not-so-good, anything you please, but nothing rude please.

If you are participating, please leave me a comment so I can buzz along and have a look.
Elephant's Child always participates, and her pictures are always worth seeing.

Only two photos from me today and one of those is from "no-one" taken with her phone

this is from K, she named it Insect Cloud.
Does anyone else see a giant fluffy louse crawling across the sky towards Adelaide?

and here is my Lola, all wrapped up in herself and snoozing at the end of my chair on the raised footrest part while I watch Goliath on TV.

  1. It looks more like a grasshopper to me, but at least i do see the buggy tendencies in it.

    Lola looks like a sweetheart.

    1. messymimi; definitely buggy, my first thought was giant dust mite or louse. Lola is a sweetheart when she's happy.

    1. Elephant's Child; I'll pass on the awww as soon as she stops rocketing around the place.

  3. I DO see a louse! Seems like a cat can get comfortable anywhere.

    1. Val; I'm glad you see the louse and it isn't just me. The end of my chair is a pretty big spot, plenty of room for a cat to get comfy.

  4. Shama is on my lap as I type. She's hoping I'll hurry up and hop back into bed with the paper. Something I'm just about to do.

Keep warm, River...have a great week. Cuddles to the lovely Lady Lola. :)

    1. Lee; Lola isn't a lap cat which is a good thing as I don't have much lap space. I've given up reading the paper in bed, there's just not enough room to spread it out without bits falling to the floor. Lola's getting plenty of cuddles and we are both keeping warm.

  5. Yes, that cloud is a repulsive tick, or any other louse of note.
I wish my cat would settle for the foot rest!

    1. Joanne; I'm glad others see the louse, not just me. Lola prefers the footrest for some reason and I don't mind at all.

  6. Imagination is great when it comes to clouds, one can see many creatures in that photo.
Lola is comfortable it seems - happy.

    1. Margaret-whiteangel; I most often see puppies or dragons in clouds. Lola is always happy when she can sleep wherever I am.

  7. Funny that about clouds, we all see different things. I saw that annoying tiny crab on beaches that would bite me.

    Love your wee cat.

    1. Wisewebwoman; I saw a crab in there too. Lola is not as wee as she once was, I got her from a shelter scrawny, undernourished, but once I found the foods she could tolerate she put on weight and her coat got shiny.

  8. It does look insect like. Not sure what kind. Lola knows what brings her comfort and I am sure she does the same for you.

    1. Arkansas Patti; definitely insect like, the tiny creepy louse kind. Cats find their comfort in many places.

  9. It looks like a bear peering down through the water for a fish.

    1. Susan Kane; I'll have to have another look, you see it from the fish-eye view.
