Let me introduce...

 Mary Elizabeth Grainger

M.E.G. aka Meg

I noticed these little redheaded "Madeline" dolls on a blog I discovered a few months ago, l'astronave, link is here. Fresca has quite a few of these dolls, she calls them Girlettes with Penny Cooper as the ring leader and they have an adventure now and again.

Very soon I wanted one too, so I went to ebay and found this one in her little Equestrian outfit, with her first prize ribbon, and she arrived on Tuesday. I was so excited!

here she is without her hat so you can see the pretty red hair.

here is Meg making friends with the boys, Cousin Hugo, in the blue and yellow hoodie, Harvey Banana in the striped hoodie, little Hector and Leo the Beanie Baby

settling in to watch TV while I get dinner ready

She's quite at home already :)

Of course Meg needs more clothes, so I have ordered a couple of extra outfits, but I think I'm going to have to get out my needles and threads to make more.

    1. joeh; I don't think I'd know how to do a creepy movie, but there will be photos of Meg here and there around Adelaide once the pollen weather clears enough that I can go out.

    1. Arkansas Patti; kicking back on the chairs is what we do best, so Meg fits right in. I think she will be a tad more comfortable once I get more clothes for her.

    1. Dora; Miss Meg says Hello back, but would like you to know it is windy and raining here, so she is happy to be inside where it is warm and dry.

  11. Oh, my Nieces would love her, they are into horses a lot.
Love all the scenes you made. Mielebaer, Elmo, Blanket and Lille Ingo sure looked on with joy!

    1. Iris Flavia; I'm not into horses at all, that is just the outfit she arrived in and I hope to get more clothes for her soon, summer is coming and the riding jacket will be too hot to wear. She needs little dresses.

  13. There is nothing quite like a happy and cheerful Madeline Doll. Meg is lovely. I have an IG account that has featured 'Rose Cottage Madeline' :) and she has appeared on my doll blog in the past as well.

  15. I tried to comment using my phone and had no success--finally have my laptop back and can write, WELCOME TO MEG!!!
I look forward to following her adventures.
I haven't mailed the plaid dress yet, but I will soon!

  16. I ordered a little knit bear for my grand daughter, and I received two. The maker couldn't decide which one to send and so she sent two. We had two tea parties with our little friends, and Iris was enthralled. It is a wonderful gift to be able to be a part of a child's imaginings. Even more wonderful to keep that imagination alive in our own hearts long after the visit. You've clearly managed to do just that.
