Worked for me also. Love a bit of country! I’m just wondering if anyone else had an advertisement for a share company emblazoned across the front of the screen
It works fine but you can make the video much larger by clicking the pencil on the far left in the posting on New Blogger and adjusting the size numbers in the HTML code that you pasted from YouTube. Before you post the video look for the pencil on the far left if you are posting in New Blogger Then click on on it and you will see HTML view, click on it and the video gives the code on your blogger post. Look at the code and you will be looking at the first line of code which gives the size of the video. It's the width="560" height="315" which is in the first line on the code. You can take the 560 and change it to 740 and the 315 into 460 and the video will be much larger on your blog page. then hit the composed view in the pencil on the far left of New Blogger and you'll have a nice big video that fits your blog. Play with it until you like the size you want to post. Try it. I also posted on my blog how to revert back to Legacy Blogger if you want to try that too
Leanna; thank you and nice to see you here. I don't paste any HTML codes, I just upload straight from youtube via the little movie icon on the "new post" page. You can enlarge it to watch by clicking on the "full screen" at the bottom right hand corner of the video clip. I read your method of reverting to legacy blogger, but I'm comfortable now with new blogger so I'll stick with it.
Arkansas Patti; thank you, it was fun working it out, turned out to be the exact same method as old blogger, just a matter of finding where they hid the icons for photos and videos etc.
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. you might need your magnifying glass or a high powered microscope to read the franking over the stamp: above the stamp it reads "secure your dog" and across the stamp "for safe delivery" - this was on a Christmas card that arrived through the mail from my brother. Excellent advice I think. an "Aussie style" Christmas window display seen in the city by "no-one" David Jones Store has its traditional Chri...
It works for me :)
ReplyDeleteWorks here!
ReplyDeleteVal; good to know, I've missed putting up music that I like and now of course I can't remember which songs I've put up in the past.
DeleteIt worked here too. Clever you.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; thank you and I'm glad it worked.
DeleteWorks here too.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; yay!
DeleteClever you indeed River...worked brilliantly. 'll have a go...sometime!
ReplyDeleteRose~from Oz; it turned out to be just as easy as it was on old blogger. Welcome back. How is Scotland? Are you still there?
DeleteWorks!
ReplyDeleteMagical Mystical Mimi; I'd been hoping it would work and didn't see why it shouldn't.
DeleteCertainly does for me. I know where to seek help with embedding YT vids.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; surely you have worked it out by now? You are far more tech savvy than me.
DeleteWorked for me also. Love a bit of country!
ReplyDeleteI’m just wondering if anyone else had an advertisement for a share company emblazoned across the front of the screen
Cathy; Share company? That's too bad. I do like quite a bit of country.
DeleteEven working here in Denmark ;) Nice. I'll have to try and do the same.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; all the way in Denmark? That's fantastic :)
