Sunday Selections # 525

Long, long ago, in days of yore...Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

And we don't mind at all if overseas bloggers care to join us.

The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Drop in to Elephant's Child and have a look.

My little red-haired girls are the stars today:

Meg: I have a pirate sword. Put your hands in the air and give me all your gold

Gillian: I don't have any gold

Meg: then hand over the bunnies and no one gets hurt

Gillian: I can't do that

Meg: why not?

Gillian: because my hands are in the air!

Followed by the hysterical giggling only little girls can do

Let's play in the Pirate Ship!

Aye Aye Captain

I'm doing ALL the steering

maybe we can find Gilligan's Island 😀

Seas are getting rough Captain

hold her steady as you can helmsman, I'll climb up and look for land

hard aground Sir! that's pretty steady I think

you're right, we are beached

we need to get to the top of this cliff

we can climb up on this part here

and hold onto the ropes

then jump across

Oof! I'm okay, now you follow me

okay, here I come

oh no, I'm slipping, help..

grab hold of my bag, I'll pull you up

we made it!!

Meg: this sand is lovely and soft

Gillian: so white too

Meg: I'm hungry after all that work, think we can get some fish and chips for a beach picnic?

let me check my bag, I think I have some money

here we go, fish and chips are on me!

Meg: If Mary-Anne was here she'd bring us a banana cream pie for dessert

Gillian: if this was Gilligan's Island

  6. Aww they play so cute together and they do have great toys to use their imagination on. Gillian has a cute sense of humor and Meg has a pile of cash to play with.

    Love-love-love the pirate-ship!
Oh, OK a wonderful beach and fish and chips, hmmm, much better!

Very cute and I think I saw some episodes of Gilligan's Island, too!

    1. Iris Flavia; I don't remember a Kinder ad like this and there was sadly no chocolate involved.

    2. It´s a new ad and according to how the mouths form it´s an English-based one. Maybe a hint your two girls want chocolate? ;-)

  15. Oh my gosh! That is SO cute! I love the pirate ship and the water and the beach. I think they landed on GILLIAN'S Island! Perhaps a long-lost relative bequeathed it to her. They might find a clue in the sand or a buried treasure chest.

    1. Val; you're right, it must be Gillian's Island. I do have a treasure chest, but it's bright green plastic, actually a tiny toy supermarket dumpster. I'm going to be searching the local thrift stores for a small carved jewellery box, which they can find next time they are on their beach.
