For Sue,

who is no longer with us, but will always be with us

Sue was a friend to so many, always caring, always kind. I never met her in real life and I wish I had been able to at least once.

she will be missed so very very much.

  3. River, I feel your loss. You described her well, "always caring, always kind". She has left a huge empty place in so many lives, including mine.

    1. Andrew; I have a short list of people I would like to meet, Sue is on there, you are too, I wish I hadn't chickened out last time, and a couple of others.

  6. I remember her, too, if just as a sometime-visitor. It is sad we have to say good bye.
Even if not met in real life... when Ingo was so severly sick it was the blogger-world that kept me sane, that helped me take the challenge - I think I know how you feel.
My Tuesday-journal I only kept due to a former blogger, too. She was super-fit, then had an operation and passed away. Just like that. I am sorry. Life is an... "hm-hm-hm" sometimes. To keeping the memory.

    1. Iris; I think there are very many people who knew Sue through her comments at their blogs, others kept in touch with emails, I did but not often enough, she was always caring and helpful.

  8. Margaret,
Same here. A loss of a close blogging friend is as deep a loss as a friend at work or family.

  9. Hi River - thank you for posting this so necessary post for us all ... she was a very much loved blogging friend - she had a way with words ... as we know - and we can all see via the comments here and on her own blog. So desperate when we lose such a good companion. We learn so much from each other. This is a beautiful farewell song for her -- thank you ... with thoughts - Hilary

  10. Yes we will miss her, her never failing encouragement and search for beauty. I don't know if I can ever see a kangaroo without crying again.
