Oh goodness, that sounds like one of those long, draining days. 💛 Being out from 9am to 6pm (and knowing you have to do it all over again tomorrow) can really take it out of you.
Please don’t feel any pressure to explain right now. Rest comes first. Whatever it is can wait until you have the energy to share it properly. I’m just glad to hear it’s nothing earth shattering or bad — that alone is a relief.
Take tonight to unwind, recharge, and be gentle with yourself. You deserve that. https://nanajee.com/2026/02/04/top-5-attractions-in-kuala-lumpur-malaysia/
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1.conviviality 2.adoration 3.willpower 4.mellow 5.gentle 6.guitar Have fun, don't use all the words if you can't,there's no pressure here. My story will appear on this blog on Friday as always, unless I can't write one... edit: Charlotte's colour of the month is Beauty Berry Purple.
Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Brother R came to visit and brought me some old paperwork belonging to my dad, who has been dead for 25 and a half years now. They'd been stored in a container with moth balls and were quite stinky so I pegged them out on the clothes rack in the back porch three days later, most are now inside, but the heavier items such as dad's passports are still smelly so they are still out there. I now have the original copy of his natu...
Every few months since I've had her, Lola has been taken to the vet, just seven minutes walk away from home, for a "manicure" aka getting her talons clipped. In the beginning the cost was $19.90, gradually increasing until her last visit was $29.90 Today's visit? $35.00!! and what did I get for my trouble? a nice big welt where she scratched me as I tried to get her out of the carrier. Disinfected as soon as I got home of course, I've no wish to get sick from cat scratch fever!.
Are you serving on a jury in a murder trial?
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding; no, I could never do that. I'm well known for not being able to decide anything. I'm helping out one of my kids.
DeleteAs long as you - and family - are not hurt, everything is fine. Return at your leisure.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; got home earlier today, but have to go again tomorrow for a short time.
DeleteTake your time -we'll still be here.
ReplyDeletejabblog; all will be revealed in time, not too many more days aways from home now, just tomorrow (Wednesday)
DeleteI go with jabblog... as nothing too bad, I hope?
ReplyDeleteIris; nothing bad, in fact it is something good.
DeleteI do hope that whatever it is doesn't wear you down or out.
ReplyDeletejeanie; the travel back and forth and waiting at bus stops is wearing me out.
DeleteI do hope that the bus waits and travel is giving you some inspirational material at least.
DeleteJeanie; no inspiration at all, just frustration when each bus ran late.
DeleteReady when you are. I'm relieved to hear that it's nothing bad.
ReplyDeleteVal; I have taken a few photos along the way and you will see when I tell the story.
DeleteA mystery! We'll be waiting with baited breath.
ReplyDeleteMIke; don't hold your breath you might turn blue. Then you will be a Smurf.
DeletePlease take care of you and your business first. We will wait.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; thank you. Things are happening at "no-ones" house.
DeleteTake care R.
ReplyDeleteMatrgaret D; It was long days of doing nothing but be there, quite exhausting.

Sadia Jabeen; it is over now.
DeleteWe'll be here when you're ready! Just get some rest and come back when you can!
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed; I only had to be there to allow others to get work done, I was bored and sleepy a lot of the time. The story is published now.
DeleteI am glad nothing is wrong.
