Flat Earth?
Why would Nature deviate from the norm to produce a flat earth?
And how is it possible for a "flat" earth to be spinning in space as we know our sphere does?
See that flat blue slab which looks so wrong and out of place?
In other news, I walked four miles today. I was puffing and blowing like a steam engine by the time I got home and regretted not taking a bottle of water with me, but I did it!

Go, go! Flat earth is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; it really is ridiculous, but some people still believe it.
DeleteYippee for four miles and huh? Horton heard a huh. The Earth is not flat? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIris; I'd been to the city and didn't want to sit and wait for the next bus home. It caught up with me while I still had five minutes to walk, so I kept walking. The earth is round.
DeleteLOL, thank you for clarifying this. What is with some people, is this a hoax or do some really believe the flat-thingy.... When I see what politicians we all have I might think some really do believe....
DeleteIris; some people really do believe the earth is flat.
DeleteWell done on your walk R, will you go tomorrow on next day and take a drink?
ReplyDeleteFlat earth...lol
Margaret D; I may walk tomorrow, but probably not four miles, maybe two. Flat earth is unbelievable.
DeleteInacreditável que ainda há quem pense que a Terra é plana! Mas, de loucos o mundo está cheio! beijos, chica
ReplyDeletechica; it's hard to believe that some people think that way, but everyone has their reasons I suppose.
DeleteFour miles, I'm impressed! Glad you didn't fall off the edge of the world!
ReplyDeleteDebra She Who Seeks; it's the distance from the South East end of the city to my home and I didn't want to wait 20-30 minutes for a bus when I knew I could get almost home in that time.
DeleteIf the earth is flat how come the oceans don't spill over?
ReplyDeleteBoud; exactly! Try and explain that to the unbelievers who think it is flat.
DeleteWell done. What an achievement.
ReplyDeletejabblog; thank you.
DeleteCongrats on your walk, even if it was not planned. Good thing you don't live near the edge, heh, heh! I imagine if such a thing existed, it would have been commercialized by now, and be teeming with tourists!
ReplyDeleteVal; thank you. If such a thing existed wouldn't millions have fallen off by now? People, cars, ships...
DeleteEspecially absurd given that humans have been to space and SEEN the Earth, and it is definitely not flat!
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed; yet some still believe the space photos are fake, ditto the moon landing.
DeleteFour miles is a great walk.
ReplyDeleteKathy G; it is a great walk and even better when the day isn't so hot like it was yesterday.
DeleteI know some people that actually think the earth is flat. Can't convince them otherwise. Congrats on the 4 miles. Have a nice day today.
ReplyDeleteDVArtist; I don't know anyone who thinks that way, but they're out there. Thank you, 4 miles is about my limit until I get used to walking again.
DeleteI haven't heard from any Flat Earthers lately, but they do crop up from time to time.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; I don't even know any flat earthers, but I know they are out there.
DeleteHave you forgotten about this week's words for Wednesday?
DeleteWell done. You rock.
ReplyDeleteLinda's Relaxing Lair; thank you.
DeleteThe concept of a flat Earth is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteAl Penwasser; it's beyond most of us, the evidence is in the oceans with ships that go around the globe, and with the space photos taken by scientists/astronauts.
DeleteThat means 5 miles tomorrow, right?
ReplyDeleteMike; no. Two and then another longer walk, alternating until I get used to long distance walking again. It's been a while...
DeleteToo many people believe things that ain't so
ReplyDeleteRuby Roase and the Big Little Angels 3; far too many to count and I have to wonder why they think that way against all evidence to the contrary.
DeleteI tried accessing your email address, but failed. Where shall I put the words?
ReplyDeletejabblog; elsieathome@y7mail.com
DeleteNow as we know almost everything in the former heaven, where it is now and the hell ??
ReplyDeleteIngrid; I will let you know when I find out. Could take awhile....
