you get lost and find a better one.

all my bags are packed, I'm ready to go....

I hope I didn't forget anything.

clothes, computer bag, gifts for the sister, seems to be all there.

Next time I check in, I'll be several hours north of here.
I've seen the weather forecast, it's going to be hot.
Damn, I'd better shove some sunscreen in one of those bags.
And my hat.

I can't promise to check in every day, maybe not at all, I'm taking the laptop mainly so I can check emails and download my photos each day so I don't forget what they are and where I took them.

  1. Have a wonderful trip. I hope your sister likes her gifts.
We will be here when you return - looking forward to the photos.

  2. Safe journey and have a wonderful time with your sister when you meet up

  3. I initially read this sentence as "I promise to check in every day, maybe not at all," and thought what a gloriously carefree vacation.
But it will be, so have a good time and a good Holiday.

  4. Have a safe trip and a Merry Christmas.

  5. Have a most wonderful time. Double check you've got that sunscreen and your hat.

    Gary :)

  6. Going to visit your sister for Christmas, have a good time and Merry Christmas.

  7. Have a MARVELOUS trip, my friend!!

  8. Bon voyage and keep the shutter finger going.

  9. Enjoy your travel adventures!

  10. I understand how this whole living-on-a-sphere thing works--but it's still almost completely impossible for me to process the idea that going north will require sunscreen. I'm going north in a few months and they won't even have any SUN.

  11. I don't know why my comments sometimes seem to disappear!!
I did wish you a good trip and hoped you would not be too hot as I'd checked the Adelaide forecast and found you have some of our heat heading your way.
