Words for Wednesday
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Anyone's birthday in particular or the fun of bath time?
ReplyDeleteAnd a happy birthday to her from me too. And a happy anniversary of the day she came into your life as well. What sort of cake?

ReplyDeleteThanks Mum!
ReplyDeleteI've been told it's a fancy double layer chocolate cake, with chocolate cream filing and a chocolate cream mixed with melted chocolate icing. I've not yet seen it.
Elisabeth; my daughter's birthday. She blogs as "no-one".
ReplyDeleteEC; I believe it's chocolate cake.
I hope they save me a piece.
Delores; BYO fork.
no-one; put a piece in the freezer for me. I'll be there Saturday.
I'll bring carrot cake and sporks!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday snookums, having shared the Housing Commission experience your mother and I are World Sophisticates; one day we will be Gourmets in Paradise.
ReplyDeleteSarah; I love carrot cake!
ReplyDeleteR.H. you big softie you.
Or as we say in my family -- due to years of my brother's haphazard attention to spelling -- Happy Brithday!

FruitCake; we're very civilised, we use forks. Well, they do until I leave, I can't be sure just what happens after I go home.
