Musical Monday # 98

Musical Monday
I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.
I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.
Today’s clip is:John Lennon

Nobody told Me (There'd Be Days Like These)
An oldie and not everyone's favourite, but I like it.

  3. I really enjoyed it as well. Lennon's lyrics often were very cryptic. There are a lot of websites that talk about the meaning of that song.

  4. Old it may be - but definitely gold.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing that one River. I've always been a Beatles fan and cried when I heard John had been short.
This was a new one for me but I know just what he is saying and he is spot on, even today.

  9. Happy Elf Christine; happy Monday to you too. This is one of those songs that make sense no matter what era you hear it in.

fishducky; I'm glad, I like to please my friends.

Cheryl; Lennon's lyrics were cryptic until you really listened and they made more sense.

    Elephant's Child; golden oldies rule!

Merle; he had his finger on the pulse of the world I think.

Lee; yes they do and will in the future too.

The Cranky; it's a good one.

Mimsie; I wasn't a big fan and didn't even hear about John's death until it was week old news. I do like several of the songs though.

Margaret-whiteangel; my sister was the Beatles fan and collected many of their records. I believe she still has them. And it is BeAtles with an A.
