The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Oh yes I have felt like this ha ha.
ReplyDeleteJimmy; I feel like this more and more often.
DeleteSometimes, sometimes!
ReplyDeleteProcrastinating is what I do best.
joeh; I'm great at procrastinating when it comes to mundane things like vacuuming or sweeping, but my best thing is window cleaning. I can put that off forever or at least until I can't see out anymore.
DeleteThat's me all over!
ReplyDeleteS.J.Qualls; me too lately and I'm rather enjoying it. Part of my brain says"why not get up and..." then the other part says "why bother?" and I roll over and go back to sleep.
DeleteHow true it is. I have a busy day ahead, and a (significant) part of me wants to go back to bed. For a week or so.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; if I wasn't expecting a delivery today, (new clothes dryer), I'd still be in bed.
DeleteThat's a picture of me!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; then you are my twin :)
DeleteThis is cool! I'm posting on your Wednesday from the other side of the world where it's still Tuesday where I live in America.
ReplyDeleteJean R; welcome to drifting. I quite like being ahead of the rest.
DeleteSometimes you just have days like that!!!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Lowcarb team member; I have far too many days like that, but that's a good thing. I get to catch up on some reading.
DeleteThat is perfect.
ReplyDeleteonly slightly confused; yes it is and I'm thinking of having this put on a coffee mug.
DeleteI just read your "wednesday" post and Its still Tuesday here. Crazy! Does that mean im reading into the future?
ReplyDeleteLisa
Lisa; welcome to drifting; yes you are reading into the future, but only a few hours ahead.
Delete.. I soo love this one .....
ReplyDelete.. great choice River ....
I have a badge that was given to me by my son.... it says..
'My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance'
.......... Barb ..... xxxx
Barbara; I like how your son thinks :) Sadly, my son thinks the same and when I visit I'm ankle deep in dust :(
ReplyDeletedusting can be relaxing .. xxxx
Deletemore like, energy to do it
ReplyDeleteAuthor R. Mac Wheeler; energy? What's that?
DeleteThose minions are clever little fellas, aren't they? My hubby and I love all things minion. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE minions! I have a minions t-shirt and wear it everywhere. Also have a minions lunch box, one of those little metal ones and I keep my usb sticks in it.
DeleteThat is a great cartoon. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my place yesterday. Love those flavours you mentioned, too. So yum.
The Happy Whisk; I find sage to be the best at soothing and calming the digestion and I mix it with chamomile for the sweetness. If you want to use chamomile as a migraine deterrent, German chamomile is better than Roman. Buy seedlings and grow your own, it's reasonably hardy. One cup a day, to help prevent tension migraines.
DeleteI'm looking for wild chamomile this season. Love, love sage and raspberry tea together as well. Interesting about the German vs Roman. Pretty cool. I didn't know that. Thanks.
DeleteThat's me to the letter! :)
ReplyDeleteLee; me too. we could be sisters.
