Sunday Selections

I've handed over ownership of the Sunday Selections to Elephant's Child, choosing instead to post on an irregular basis and do other things instead, like clean my house, sort out my i-tunes, read some of the books that are stacking up alarmingly high...

Today's photos were NOT taken by me, they are sunrise clouds taken soon after dawn by 'no-one' as she left for work one day last week:

taken with her i-phone, I think they're pretty spectacular.
Sorry about the spacing :(

    1. Lee; a great week is planned, lots of doing nothing much, some writing needs to get done, but that's about it. Lola and I are both well, she no longer hides under the bed when people visit, unless she doesn't know the person and even then she looks first and sometimes decides to stay in the room. I'm happy about her progress.

  4. Those are wonderful captures! I love sunrises and sunsets. But who doesn't, after all?

    1. jenny_o; I love them too, but don't see many where I am, the area is too built up and now that winter is setting in, I no longer feel safe chasing a sunset when the dark comes on so quickly.

  5. Nice work. Autumn sky colours can be so much softer than the harshness of summer, or the weakness of winter.

    1. Andrew; autumn skies are the best, as you've said, less harsh than summer and brighter than winter and clouds add a whole new dimension, especially the darker stormy clouds.

  6. You know, leaving at dawn to go to work is difficult enough! The lovely No-one has done a fine job of photographing a beauty of the situation. Thanks to both of you.

    1. Joanne; it took her a while to adjust to the earlier schedule, she used to do the afternoon shift which meant coming home after dark. She is pretty good with her phone camera.
