well that's a relief

I had the ultrasound today and the very nice tech person showed me my gallbladder.

"It's that big black hole, if there were stones they would show as bright areas"

There weren't any. None. Zero. Zip,zilch, nada. Which is good.

Good for the gallbladder, but probably less so for the liver.

I didn't ask if the liver looked okay and I probably should have, but the doctor will tell me the full story on the results next time I see her. Probably Monday.

At least I don't have surgery looming in the near future.

    1. Margaret D; I will ask about what else might be causing the higher readings, though I have had a text message indicating I don't need to see her immediately.

    1. Iris; free meds?? I'll have to find out from the doctor what I can do besides eating just a lot of "rabbit food" instead of "good stuff" that I actually like. I am going to try and cut back even more on sugar.

    1. The Happy Whisk; thank you. I suspect "the other" is going to require a new food regime, less sugar for a start, but hopefully I won't have to give up butter.
