well that's a relief
I had the ultrasound today and the very nice tech person showed me my gallbladder.
"It's that big black hole, if there were stones they would show as bright areas"
There weren't any. None. Zero. Zip,zilch, nada. Which is good.
Good for the gallbladder, but probably less so for the liver.
I didn't ask if the liver looked okay and I probably should have, but the doctor will tell me the full story on the results next time I see her. Probably Monday.
At least I don't have surgery looming in the near future.
Sure a relief! Gratz.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; it really is, thank you.
DeleteI am very happy for you.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child I walked out of there on a cloud.
DeleteStones are nasty when they are place, and even nastier to get rid of. Well done!
ReplyDeletehels; I've heard stories and can now ignore them all.
DeleteThat's good. Sometimes the radiographer will give you information, sometimes they won't.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; This one had her screen and a bigger one up on the wall that I could watch on.
Deletegood news..... glad that's cleared that up for you..... good luck with the rest!! Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteArcticFox; thank you, there's still the mystery of the higher readings.
DeleteThis is a relief.
ReplyDeleteLInda's Relaxing Lair; yes it is.
DeleteThat is a relief.
ReplyDeletejabblog; one less thing to worry about.
DeleteWell that's good news then R. Trust you will do well at the Dr. when you go next week.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; I will ask about what else might be causing the higher readings, though I have had a text message indicating I don't need to see her immediately.
DeleteI'm glad there's no gallbladder issue. That's not fun. Let's hope for more good news, too.
ReplyDeleteBoud; I am glad also and will work on finding out how to reduce the fattiness of my liver.
DeleteThat's good news! Let's hope for the same from your liver.
ReplyDeleteVal; it is good news, but I still have to find out why the higher readings.
DeleteExcellent news!
ReplyDeletemessymimi; it is good news, thank you
DeleteFingers crossed for more good news!
ReplyDeleteMike; fingers crossed I don't have to switch to a diet of rabbit food for my liver's sake.
DeleteYippeeeeeeeee... and look out for free meds for the liver...
ReplyDeleteIris; free meds?? I'll have to find out from the doctor what I can do besides eating just a lot of "rabbit food" instead of "good stuff" that I actually like. I am going to try and cut back even more on sugar.
DeleteWell that's good to know!
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed; It was a relief to know I wouldn't be needing surgery. Lola gets quite stressed when I am away overnight.
DeleteOne thing down and now you find out soon about the other. Sending lots of huggs and good thoughts your way. Cheers, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteThe Happy Whisk; thank you. I suspect "the other" is going to require a new food regime, less sugar for a start, but hopefully I won't have to give up butter.
