Blogger seems to be playing games and I am unable to reply to the last few comments on my post, so I'll do it here:
messymimi; thank you, I think Jim is trying to figure out his future, Archaeology or Historian. I hope he finds a balance and gets to do both.
Margaret D; thank you, I used bits of memory from books I had read and my dad's love of cream cakes.
Iris; Thank you. Absolution means different things to different people I think. I chose the forgiveness option.

ReplyDeleteOh, boy, another hiccup! Well, it´s for free... yes. I think here you get "bombed" so much with how cruel people were forgiveness is hard to imagine...
ReplyDeleteIt's not US, it's THEM! The darn Blogger people must have "updated" something in the past couple days. I can use the REPLY on one of my blogs, but not on the other.

ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with just one post. A work around is to turn comments off on the post, save it, turn comments on and save it, and that fixed the issue but at some point the same post reverted to not being able to reply to comments.

ReplyDeleteBob; I did wonder why I wasn't seeing replies and thought everyone was just too busy, then it happened here and I am annoyed.
Iris; blogger has so many hiccups, I wonder sometimes if they don't want us to blog anymore.
Val; I do wish they would warn us when they update or whatever it is they do to change things.
sa lluna; I don't think blogger will stop playing around, thye are always "fixing" things that don't need fixing.
Andrew; I'm not going to bother with work arounds. I'll answer in a separate comment as I am doing now. I am extra sad this morning as my kindle died yesterday. It won't turn on and won't recharge. I was planning to transfer the 410 books to a hard drive because I knew it was dying, but I left it too late and now I have lost them. She was 14 years old, so we had a good run...
Yeah, it's a wonky thing going on. I had it happen on yours and one other blog.
