Musical Monday # 101

Musical Monday

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Bob Seger

Old Time Rock and Roll

and the lyrics, just in case you don't remember them.

Comments

  1. I posted this song to my facebook wall just this past Thursday! Because when it comes down to it, no matter what other kinds of music I like, and listen to, it will always be old time rock 'n roll that soothes my soul!

  3. I love Bob Seger and can't believe he is now 71 years old! His music has played a huge part in my play-list through the years.

  7. Grace; old time rock and roll has a big place in my ipod playlist too.

Elephant's Child; yes yes yes :)

fishducky; aaawww, that's annoying, maybe you can find it somewhere on you tube.

Lee; even better, he made it past his sixties without dying! He's on my playlists too.

Andrew; Bob Seger did Night Moves?? Off to you tube....

Vicki; a friendly, happy place I hope.

Vest; what I do can't really be called rocking either, more of a shuffling wobble.

  9. Hmmm, not really.
But that's OK. I can't slip into a maudlin mindset every time I hear songs from the seventies.
And there are far too many great songs from that era to allow that to happen :)

  11. What a delight. My first concert experience was to see Bob Seger. I was a late bloomer. I took my preteen daughter.

  14. Linda O'Connell; nice to see you here. I haven't been to your blog in a while either. I've never been to a rock concert.

Cheryl; It's a great one for 'bopping' around the kitchen.

Barbara; one of my favourites too.
