what I listen to.

Quite a few people on the interwebs have listed the songs on their i-pods, or their favourite record collection, or even the playlist they like to exercise to.

Well, my i-pod has 750+ songs, most of them are divided into about 8-9 separate playlists, so I'm not going to list them.

I will instead list the artists. And how many songs by each.
That will give you some idea of the type of music I prefer.

You can see that I lean fairly heavily towards Country Music, with Trisha Yearwood being a clear favourite.
Some of these are favourites from my childhood, when I heard them on the radio before we got a television. Others are from my teen years, still others are from movie soundtracks.
Quite a mixture.

Comments

  1. That is quite a mix. I think my list must be embarrassing because I'm always horrified by the iTunes 'you may also like' suggestions.

  2. Hi River,

Alice Cooper? AC/DC? The Scorpions? Meatloaf?

    There's hope for you yet.

    :0)

  3. life in a pink fibro; I think a mix of styles and eras is so much more interesting than a whole i-pod of just one type of music. For instance ten solid hours of classical orchestra would drive me bananas. Broken up with evrything else, it's great.

Plasman; There's only one each of Alice Cooper, (Poison), ACDC, (It's a long way to the top), and Scopions, (Wind of Change), but Meatloaf is quite a favourite. There's only 4 on there so far, because I haven't bothered to load anymore.
