Whimsical Wednesday # 64

Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!

The day for your googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.

It's been a while since we had a watermelon carving.

This one is clearly a French watermelon, note the beret.
And possibly an opera singer too.

  2. Aware that negroes were superstitious the Ku Klux Klan dressed in white sheets to look like ghosts. Your watermelon man appears to have just seen a posse.

  5. R.H. I don't think so, he looks a little green and negroes aren't green.

Manzanita; high C maybe, perhaps he's a choir boy.

    Elephant's Child; I hadn't thought of that.

  6. Is that so. Well what about all those bad taste prints sold in K-Mart of Chinese women with green faces? Answer that. It's not the colour, it's the shape; the features.

  7. Hi, this is my fourth comment, I'm in a hurry, I had a dream where you said I'd soon be in parliament: the Don Dunstan of Victoria in pink shorts. I hope it doesen't come true, but in case it does I'm having posters made up for display around these red-neck western suburbs: NO SPITTING ON THE POOFTERS. That's what they say. I intend to be remembered as enlightened.

  8. I don't think he's French but a rather loud Yorkshireman, yelling during a football match.

  9. Kath Lockett; he looks happy, so perhaps his team is winning.
