The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Oh yeah!!
ReplyDeleteHow true it is.
ReplyDeleteSpade to bury the hatchet, club to knock down walls and obstacles.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! Good one! :)
ReplyDeleteA club to fix the problem a spade to bury the evidence, maybe a divorce is easier.
ReplyDeleteMerle...................
Haha! So true.
ReplyDeleteMarriage is certainly a roller coaster ride, and at times, it seems there are more dips than highs.
I need Wednesday and a giggle.
ReplyDeleteDelores; I wished for a club and spade a few times myself.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; too often true.
mm; that's a good way to see things.
Lee; thought you'd like it.
Merle; but divorce is so much more expensive and slower.
Vicki; stop the roller coaster! I want to get off.
Joanne; I hope you got your giggle.
Comment tres vrai....how very true!
ReplyDeleteMimsie; I failed French at school. Hated the teacher who made us all feel like hicks because we couldn't get the accent right. And we weren't ladylike enough to suit her. She made us all wear tights and berets.
ReplyDeleteHow ever do people come up with such clever quips!?
