Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.

Nah. This one is not for me. And I don't even know why. His voice strikes me as 'oily'. But I am a musical moron.

ReplyDeleteI've never been a fan of Tom Jones. He just doesn't do it for me; never did.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; his voice is smooth, I suppose you could say oily. I have lots of songs I don't like without knowing why.
ReplyDeleteDelores; no I never did, couldn't understand all those women throwing knickers on the stage. But I like a few of his songs.
Lee; not a fan, but I like a few of his songs. I certainly wouldn't be going to any concerts, then or now.

ReplyDeleteFantastic...I really enjoyed that....my type of music! Tom Jones is one of my favourite singers but I must admit I prefer his earlier songs rather than his later, more modern ones. Thank you for sharing this great artist with us.
ReplyDeleteMimsie; I haven't heard any of his more modern songs. This one is from the late sixties if those very short dresses are anything to go by. Glad I found something you could enjoy.
