Sunday Selections # 209
Welcome back to Sunday
Selections!
This once-a- week-meme
was originally begun by Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, as a way to showcase some of
the many photos we all take, but don't get around to showing on our blogs.
The rules are very
simple:-
1. post photos of your
choice, old or new, under the Sunday Selections title
2. link back to me,
River, somewhere in your post
3. leave me a comment so
that I know you've joined in and can come over and see what you've posted.
4. hop on over to The Elephant’s Child to see more of her wonderful photos.
Andrew often joins in too.
I usually go with a
theme for my Sunday Selections and this week my theme is rather lazy.
A sleeping Angel.
I'll just keep napping.
I'll just change sides,
get really comfortable.
I hear that camera again...(left eye is open just the merest slit)
too comfortable to bother investigating, it's just a camera.
I heard a noise outside, wait, mum's not getting up..
I'll just zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
even his feet are tufted, Angel is a very hairy cat.
Who doesn't love a good cat nap?
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love a good cat nap?
ReplyDeleteI love your ball of fur!!
ReplyDeleteMy cat looks away from the camera. Every time.
ReplyDeleteHe's really a cutie. (But you knew that.)
ReplyDeleteI saw one of the funniest videos the other day of a guy trying to take his cat for a walk. He has no trouble getting the leash on him, but the thing is, the cat is trying to take a nap, so every time the guy tries to get the cat up on his feet, the cat slumps back down into a lazy lump on the floor. I swear, it looks like he's made out of a liquid. Then the guy pulls on the leash a little bit, but the cat refuses to get up, and lets the guy drag him across the hardwood floor. It got to where I thought the cat was drugged or something, but at the end, when the guy unhooked the leash, the cat jumped up and ran away. Obviously he had an important mission...
Happy weekend!
He is SUCH a beautiful boy. And no doubt knows it too. How I wish that I could sleep like that. How I wish Jazz would let me sleep like that.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's smiling.
ReplyDeleteI love the running commentary. Angel is a real sweetie and I do love seeing pics of him.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, River...cuddles for your furry mate from me. :)
Angel living a hard life.
ReplyDeleteFrom these photos, it's hard to remember that gorgeous Angel is still a youngster - not that long out of kittenhood.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like such a wise old soul here...
They really know how to relax, such a angel, the devil is not around when sleeping.
ReplyDeleteMerle............
joeh; I love cat naps, take a few myself now and again.
ReplyDeletefishducky; me too!
Joanne; Angel usually sits and poses, but he's beginning to ignore it.
Susan; I saw that video! Very funny and a smart cat.
Elephant's Child; yes, he knows he's beautiful. I'll have to stop saying "who's mummy's beautiful boy?"
Delores; he always does when he's asleep.
Lee; I'm glad he chose to sleep at the other end of the table this time, much easier to snap photos than when he is between me and the keyboard.
Andrew; such a hard life, all that decision making. Where will I sleep today? Bed or table?
Vicki; if he was a smaller cat it would be easier to remember how young he still is. just 13 1/2 months.
Merle; he'll be devilish again when I'm ready for a nap.
Angel has really grown a LOT. These pics really brought it home for me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Elf Christine; I think he's finished growing now, thank goodness. I should weigh him and see how much I'm lifting every time I pick him up.
ReplyDeleteAngel may be a very hairy cat but he is also a very beautiful cat and I somehow think he knows he is.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful though to be so relaxed without a care in his little world. Did you investigate that noise outside by the way? Maybe he was just dreaming.
Look at that face! So gorgeous. And he has grown up since I last read an Angel post.
