Musical Monday # 46
Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.
Today’s clip is one of my favourite songs, taken from one of my favourite movies.
What a Feeling sung by Irene Cara
from the movie Flashdance starring Jennifer Beale
and the lyrics so you can sing along if you wish to.
I hope you enjoy this one, I like music that makes me want to get up and dance, even though I never learned how.
Fun. And yes, some music does make you want to dance, even those with several left feet like me.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; several left feet! I like that. I have feet that sometimes want to glue themselves to the floor so only the rest of me bops around.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a contagious track and does make you feel like you want to soar. The movie was on TV again only a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteDance is inside us all!
ReplyDeleteOkay, some definitely have "the moves". But, we all can dance to whatever music makes us happy. And it releases feel good endorphins - so it's gotta be good.
I've lost count of the number of times I've danced to an audience of one... only Jack, because I know he won't be able to tell anyone :D
Lee; and I watched my dvd copy so I didn't see any ads and got to bed earlier.
ReplyDeleteVicki; I would love to be one of those that has the moves. But bopping and swaying around with a stuffed monkey is almost as good.
Ah, the leg warmer clip. Great fun.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; I wish I had just half her energy and those moves!
ReplyDeleteAlways feel energised by this clip wish I could do half of the moves but never could always had two left feet.
ReplyDeleteMerle............
Merle; I don't have two left feet, but I do have a lack of flexibility. and I never learned to dance.
