Musical Monday #55
Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.
Today’s clip is again Neil Diamond
Cherry Cherry
and the lyrics, because I always like to know the words to my favourite songs :)
Hi River,
ReplyDeleteI actually quite like some of Neil Diamond's stuff.
Bet that shocked you, didn't it?
;o)
Cheers
PM
I have The Hot August Night LP one of about 6 I own and a few CD'S not a very good music collection.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
I remember that. And then saw when it was released. I am getting old.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh....you're doing it to me again! Keep it up! I love it...and Neil, of course! I can never have enough of that one particular Diamond! :)
ReplyDeletePlasman; you did surprise me , a pleasant surprise. I didn't think Neil Diamond was on your radar.
ReplyDeleteMerle; I don't own any vinyl albums, quite a few cds but none of Neil Diamond. Yet. I have his music on my Ipods from the I-tunes store.
Elephant's Child; we're all getting old, isn't it great? We'll grow old together.
Lee; Diamonds are a girl's best friend (*~*) This particular Diamond is top quality.
For some reason neither would play for me but I do know the song Cherry Cherry and always found it very cheerful and I liked it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this one.
Mimsie; I'm glad you like it, it does have a very cheery beat to it.
ReplyDelete... hello River... I do like Neil Diamond.... but the videos wouldn't play for me .....a bit sad ..
ReplyDeleteHugs ... Barb xxxx
River..... Thanks for the musical Monday. Tunes do cheer one. But I don't think I've ever heard this particular one before.
ReplyDeleteBarbara; Mimsie had the same trouble, that's too bad.
ReplyDeleteManzanita; I'm surprised, it's from way back, in the late 60s early 70s
