Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!
The day for your googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.
"Conclusive proof" that aliens are among us??

This one wasn't googled, I don't recall where I found it exactly, if you remember it as "yours" then please take credit.

condiments for alien hamburgers
ReplyDeleteKetchup is so "all-American." I cannot abide the taste. I remember as a child my dad saying to my brothers, who doused even mashed potatoes in ketchup, "Why are you doing this to your mother's good food?" It didn't change their habits, but certainly reinforced my opinion of ketchup.
ReplyDeleteI think it was me, but I just took it off the internet!!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about ketchup Joanne, or as my Dad and I used to call it 'cat soup'. One my nieces loved ketchup so much that she put it on her green beans, and was caught putting it on her ice cream.
ReplyDeleteYiiiiiiick!
The flying sauces made me giggle. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the ketchup dislikers. On ice-cream is a new low though.
Delores; aliens can't be so bad if they like burgers!
ReplyDeleteJoanne; We always called it tomato sauce here in Aus, but now the Heinz brand has been renamed Ketchup, which really annoys me. It's the same sauce still, so I can ignore the label. I use it in cooking, rather than pouring it over food.
fishducky; I thought it was you, unless I found it on the internet myself, which is less likely.
Jaquelineand; I've seen it called Catsup in books and wondered why anyone would put something called catsup on their foods, I thought it was some kind of cat food, then later realised it was Ketchup, which is our tomato sauce. I don't think I could pour it over ice cream ever, not green beans either.
Elephant's Child; Even aliens like sauce on their burgers it seems. Never, ever on ice cream though.
My niece always put tomato sauce all over her food, she says she can eat anything with it on, I not so sure she hasn't got a point.
ReplyDeleteMerle............
Hahahaha! I love it! Good one! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't eat hamburgers or French fries without ketchup.
ReplyDeleteMerle; I always taste food first, if it seems to need something extra I might add sauce, most things are okay without it.
ReplyDeleteLee; I knew you'd like this one.
joeh; I can. Usually I make my own burgers and put sauce in the mix before I shape the patties and cook them, but I don't often pour sauce over the burger. French fries are better without if they are very fresh and hot, sometimes I'll have dipping sauce on the side, but often don't bother dipping.
Oh is this CUTE. You know, it would make a fun fabric for sheets or even a kitchen curtain. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. Phil likes tomato sauce more than I do. He often jokes that he signed his naturalisation papers in tomato sauce.
